Unit 3 Blog CM 229-03

Hello everyone!

I hope that you all enjoyed your thanksgiving, I was in West Virginia with my family visiting my in-laws. It was a good time, we got a new truck and let me tell you a DVD player on an 8 hour trip is fantastic when you have a small child. Well onto my blog:

I feel that being an online students has its benefits and setbacks. It is hard to communicate with financial adviser's and at times other students. I never want to have my point come across in the wrong way, I am a very assertive person and at times I can come on too strongly to those who don't understand what I am saying. Personally I love being an online student. It gives me time to spend with my husband and son while I am doing courses. I can sit in the living room and work on a paper while my husband is watching football and our son is playing with his trucks on the floor. Also, I am more of a self learner. I believe that I get it from being home schooled for my last part of high school. I seem to learn more when I can get in there and do it myself, instead of waiting for the other students to understand before I get to move on.

Creating a close class community is up to the students. I know for myself that I have made some good friends in this university just from chatting online or on facebook. Most people want to be in an online course because they do not want to deal with the other students or the pressure of making friends. I am open to everyone, I love chatting and having fun. It lets me know more about the students and how they like the online courses as well. So far I have a friends in Texas, Florida, California, and where ever Kathy is from LOL, I keep forgetting.

I wish everyone the best of luck and wish you all Happy Holidays. I am making a trip to California in a few weeks to visit my family and spend Christmas with my dad. Last Christmas we spent together was when I was 11, so it's going to be great! Then after 2 weeks in Cali were going back to WV again to go skiing!!!! I am so excited! Thank goodness for that winter break. Well I am going to go now, my husband will be home from work soon and is probably hungry so it's time to make some lunch. See y'all in class. :)

Not a morning person.....

Hello all!

Well my husband just left for work, but not before pouncing on the bed to wake me up. I am not exactly the nicest person in the mornings, so of course I bit his head off and got a puppy dog face afterwards. We made a deal that I would finish as much school work as possible, so that we can spend time together once he gets home. It's a good deal just 7am seems so early! After waking up at 4:30am for 2 years straight I think I am apt to a little sleep in time. Especially since my sleep in is 8am. I already miss my honey bunches and he has been gone for about 30 minutes. It is so nice having him home. It's almost like he never left now, everything is perfect again. With one exception, our son is extremely possessive of me. He freaks out whenever my husband touches me. It's cute sometimes, like when he punched his daddy in the arm because my husband was tickling me and our son thought he was hurting me. When he freaks out because we sleep in the same bed though, that's pretty annoying. Funny, but annoying. Poor baby has to get used to big changes after a year with only Momma. Speaking of my son he just woke up, so it is time to end this blog for now. Hope you enjoyed my rambling, have a good morning!

Unit 2 Blog

Hello fellow bloggers! Well I am happy to say that after a year in Iraq my husband finally came home at 3 am Tuesday morning. I am busy spending time with him and trying to get used to having a man back in the house. At least I am not gonna have to worry about the trash getting taken out anymore. LOL. Anyways we just finished easting a breakfast feast, I missed cooking for him. Well this is where I am going to end it, we have a lot of lost time to make up for as a family and I can't wait to get started!

Last thing: I would like to thank my fellow military wives and soldiers for everything that you do, the sacrifices that you make are huge and I wish that there was a way to ease the pain of a deployment. Good luck and God bless!

Unit 1 Blog CM229-03

Well today is the first day of term 3 in school. I am pretty optimistic about my classes. Last term I took 3 classes and that was pretty rough on me, I didn't have time to do anything for myself or my son. This term I am taking things easier especially since my husband will be home from Iraq on Sunday. I really can't wait, he has been gone for a year! This whole blogging thing is very new to me, I am not entirely sure of what I am supposed to write about. Hopefully this is good enough for Unit 1.
